Ms. Shirley is the
office administrator for Scholl Associates.
She has over twenty-five years of
experience as an office administrator
in a variety of businesses and health
care organizations, and has been with
Scholl Associates for the past eight
years. Ms. Shirley is often the first
voice visitors hear when they contact
Scholl Associates. Besides being the
first point of contact for Scholl
Associates, Ms. Shirley is also the
engine that works behind-the-scenes
to coordinate much of the work that
Scholl Associates produces.

Dr. Scholl is both
a licensed clinical psychologist as
well as an organizational and industrial
psychologist. He received both his
master and doctoral degrees from Temple
University and his bachelor’s
degree from Alma College in Michigan.
He has done internships with both
National Training Laboratories (NTL)
and the University of Pennsylvania
Department of Psychiatry. Dr. Scholl
teaches workshops and classes in group
management, crisis intervention, interviewing,
and other areas of clinical psychology.
Besides working as a management consultant
for Scholl Associates, Dr. Scholl
has also served as Clinical Director
for Whitemarsh Behavioral Health Care
for over thirty years. Dr. Scholl
has written several books with Dr.
Folzer on dual careers and diversity
career development for both individuals
and supervisors.
Dr. Scholl served as a Systems Training
Officer and Weapons Control Officer
with the U.S. Air Force, attaining
the rank of Captain. He was awarded
the U.S. Air Force Commendation with
Oak Leaf Cluster for meritorious service
in Southeast Asia. He lives in Penn
Valley, Pennsylvania with his wife
and dog, and enjoys renovating homes
and sailing on the Chesapeake Bay.

Dr. Smither
is an industrial and organizational
psychologist with over 12 years
of experience consulting in
the areas of human resources
and leadership development.
Dr. Smither teaches at LaSalle
University in the MBA and Executive
MBA programs. He received his
B. A. from LaSalle University
in Philadelphia, M.A. degrees
from Seton Hall University,
and Montclair State University,
and his Ph.D. from the Stevens
Institute of Technology. He
has published over 35 scholarly
articles and chapters and serves
as Associate Editor for the
Journal of Personnel Psychology.
Prior to joining Scholl Associates,
Dr. Smither was senior manager
in corporate human resources
for A.T. & T., where he
was responsible for developing
and validating selection programs
for management level positions.
In addition he has also designed
and delivered leadership and
HR training in communication
and feedback skills, managing
change, negotiation and conflict
management, decision making,
group problem-solving and decision
making, empowerment, work motivation,
sexual harassment awareness
and prevention, needs assessment,
business planning, and the design
and evaluation of training programs.

Dr. Folzer is a licensed
psychologist with training and experience
in both industrial and clinical psychology.
She is a member of the National Training
Laboratories (NTL), for whom she does
management training. Dr. Folzer attended
the University of Chicago and earned
her M.A. and Ph.D. from Temple University.
Dr. Folzer has also done post-doctoral
work at the University of Pennsylvania’s
Center for Cognitive Therapy. Over
the past thirty years Dr. Folzer has
engaged in training and consulting
with a wide range of businesses.
In addition Dr. Folzer has taught
and written books and articles in
the areas of diversity, domestic violence,
career development for employees and
supervisors, and globalization. Dr.
Folzer is a member of the American
Psychological Association (APA), the
American Orthopsychiatry Association
(AOA) and the Human Resources Professional
Association of Delaware Valley.

Mr. Scholl has experience
in both clinical and industrial psychology,
specializing in testing assessment
and interviewing.
Mr. Scholl received his BA in psychology
from Washington College with Honors
on his thesis. He is published in
the areas of Eating Disorders and
Applied Sport Psychology. He earned
his MBA form LaSalle University in
Management and is currently working
towards his doctorate in Clinical
Psychology. He is a member of the
Society for Human Resources Management
(SHRM), the Association of Behavioral
Therapy (ABT), Employee Assistance
Professional Association (EAP), American
Psychological Association (APA-student
member) and the Pennsylvania Psychological
Association (PPA). He is an elite
rower and is a member of Vesper Boat
Club and University Barge Club in
Philadelphia. Over the past ten years,
Mr. Scholl has coached rowing and
conducted many athletic, team building,
and developmental workshops involving
rowing.
